Working with the community is an important aspect of education in the public schools.  So when the Holland Kiwanis organization asked my students to help design the cover of this year's phone directory, we jumped at the chance.  I designed a competition and when all the submissions were compiled, I was able to submit 18 high quality student drawn designs to the members for consideration.  The winning design was published on the directory and can be seen below.  Also pictured are the 2nd and 3rd place submissions.
