Restoring photographs of historical Springville

At the start of my curriculum planning for the digital photography class, I decided that I wanted the students to learn some of the tools in Photoshop by completing a restoration of an aged photograph.  I knew that not all the students would have access to historical photographs so I contacted the Concord Historical Society who graciously provided us with photographs that we could scan in and restore.  The tradeoff--that we would provide them with the new restored photographs once the task was complete.  The collaboration was well worth the time and effort.  Some examples of the student's restorations are shown below.
