Tulip Festival Art Show and Chair Auction

One of the best ways to celebrate the exceptional talents of our students is by showcasing their work in an exhibition.  Each year in conjunction with the annual Holland Tulip Festival, the Art Department puts on the Tulip Festival Art Exhibition in the main lobby of the High School.  The work stays up for about a week.  

In addition to the art exhibition, the students in my art club and classes showcase painted chairs that they design on their own.  These chairs are then auctioned off at the tulip festival in a silent auction and the proceeds are donated to a local organization such as the Boys and Girls Club.  This is always a creative challenge for the students and a crowd pleaser for the community!
