Powerpoint presentations

Through 5 years of teaching experience, I have found that PowerPoint presentations are the most beneficial way to teach a new topic, spark conversation, and keep the 40 minute class moving at a good pace.  The attached PowerPoint is one that I give students who are just starting out in my Digital Photography class.  For this lesson, the students make a connection between the way that a camera lens operates as compared to the functions of the human eye.  This lesson then turns into a project in which the students make home-made camera obscuras out of cardboard and tin foil.
